The digitialisation platform Austrian Digital Value (ADV) and the FIWARE Foundation invited to a conference at the FH Technikum Wien on February 20th. Several best practice examples from the municipal sector focusing on the use of components of the FIWARE platform were presented and demonstrated.
dwh data expert Matthias Wastian and Thomas Schranz from TU Graz were given the chance to talk about the project GameOpSys, which is carried out together with the TU Vienna and the KFU Graz. This research project is partially funded by the FFG programme “Stadt der Zukunft”. The core goal of GameOpSys is to increase the integration of energy users through gamification aspects, who, for example, receive intelligent predictions about their energy consumption for the next day via an app and can thus sustainably improve their behaviour in this regard.
